Québec Action Campaign Against Violence Against Women**
“Act together for a world free of violence against women”
A declaration calling on the Québec government and the population as a whole to actively oppose violence against women will be published in Québec's French- and English-language newspapers to kick off the campaign. We encourage you to add your voice to those opposing violence against women and support the ongoing work by endorsing this declaration and making a financial contribution toward its publication. The text of the declaration is attached.
We need $20,000 !
To have your name or your group's name appear below the Act together for a world free of violence against women! declaration, we are requesting a minimum financial contribution of $10 per person and $50 per group. If you want to sign the declaration but are unable to pay the contribution, you can contact us at: mleblanc@ffq.qc.ca 514-876-0166, extension 229.
Please confirm your support immediately by email (mleblanc@ffq.qc.ca) (THE DEADLINE FOR GIVING US YOUR NAME IS NOVEMBER 19th) and then send your cheque, made out to the Fédération des femmes du Québec, with "anti-violence campaign" written on the memo line, to the following address :
