Fill in wikipedia's gaps (Women, People of colour, I'd add workers and popular movements...)

Wikipedia remains too male and too white. I'd also add a classist bias, with short shrift for leaders and members of workers' and popular movements.

There is quite a bit of knowledge among our members and people they know.

There is some very skillful editing of Wikipedia which, to my way of thinking, isn't just bad by omission. It's also bad by mis-direction. So, some important but complicated social and political subjects are made a mess of. I don't think that's an accident.

I suppose understanding philosophy is about hard mental work. The journey and the struggle to learn new things ought to be difficult in some ways. But radical interpretations often seem to be just air-brushed out of existence on Wiki. And the edit wars suggest some organized efforts.

This is a great idea, however. I would just caution Wiki posters to be aware that how you categorize your contribution is important. Imagine that someone is trying to make a mess of your hard work and try to make your contribution "bullet proof". And try to get up to speed on Wiki rules about this and that over time. You can also change settings so that any edits of your contribution gets an e mail notice to you. That's handy.
