Ezra Nawi is a gay, 57 year-old Israeli Jewish plumber. He is facing sentencing in an Israeli court for the crime of blocking bulldozers that were destroying Palestinian homes. Ezra's sentencing hearing will be September 21st. Here is much more information from Jewish Voice For Peace:

Slight correction: Ezra's sentence will be handed down on September 21st. His sentencing hearing was in August. BTW, for anyone who was about to invoke the "t word", the homes Ezra was defending were those of nonviolent Palestinian Bedouins. So there was no justification for the demolitions whatsoever.
