Coke Zero tastes terrible. I tried it once and I was confused as to what I had just put in my body.
I sometimes wonder where they get those numbers about the deaths. Is the the soft drinks or the sugar that kills. As for the Aspertame.....where do they ge those numbers? Show me a link.

Ah... I see you are Rumsfeld fan! Because that article contained no studies, and indeed it did not even state that aspertame was okay for use, it just stated that if you did not use it you would be using other bads things anyway.
In fact the article gives you many other choices as opposed to aspertame.
I dont use the stuff....I use Splenda. And god know how many chemicals we pump into our bodies with out knowing it
I like Coke Zero, it tastes marginally better than regular coke.
Some say the aspartame is bad for you. Yeah, so is the insulin surge from 150 CALORIES OF HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP. Never mind the inevitable obesity.
Coke Zero goes very well with Rum in my opinion.

the good part about the above link is that perhaps a dozen people see it ever. If there is no explanation why not just raise a red herring. What does Rumsfeld have to do with this?

I have tasted it, it tastes like chemical shit to me, no resemblence to any pleasureable taste I have ever had, it is easy for me to forgo it but seriously it would not be in the marketplace at all if he had not gotten involved and aside from the fact I think it is toxic I am not interested in making him any richer.

I really didn't need to do much research on aspartame, as I said it has a bad chemical taste, I have drunk it but when I have, I've had to suspend that critical part of my brain that was revolted by it. LOL

My basic argument is that it tastes really bad to me, it tastes like some kind of chemical shit that in another life is probably used to kill weeds. LOL
Apparently there are different levels of taste experience that people have, there's a range from some basically not tasting food at all to super-tasters. I am pretty clear about where I am in that category.
I avoid the corn syrup too.
I don't particularly care for those choices, it is such a tiny range of choices, let me see there's Choice A - chemical shit or Choice B - possibly GMO but for sure corn shit. LOL
