Kevin Neish is currently incarcerated in Israel. Will the Canadian government demand his immediate release or will it take the Omar Khadr route and abandon him to the justice system of the 'only democracy in the middle east',,?

rabble.ca's Meagan Perry was the last to speak to Neish before the raid in an interview Friday, in Crete, before the flotila disembarked.

"I was beaten by the soldiers. They tied my hands behind my back, put a blindfold on me, threw me on the ground. I thought they were going to break my arms and legs while they were doing this because it was very violent...

Audeh identified the other Canadians as Kevin Neish of Victoria and Farooq Burney.."

A Quick Update on a Local Hero: Kevin Neish safely Out of Israel and Witnessed Horrors on Mavi Marmara

"The Israelis kidnapped some 600 people bringing humanitarian aid to Gaza, and held them in prison for two and a half days. Neish witnessed the Israelis savagely beating Turkish activists. He said he was 'brutalized' by the officers, who left him and other passengers tied up for 25 hours. His arms are deeply bruised by the plastic handcuffs. His captors menaced him with assault rifles and attack dogs and repeatedly threatened to kill him.."

And his government wished his brutalizers well..
