Five False Claims in Libs' Attack Ad on Dix
Negative ad fiddles stats to misrepresent job growth, migration, taxes and NDP promises.

The Liberals welcomed in the New Year by launching an attack ad against Adrian Dix. A similar stunt directed against BC Conservatives leader John Cummins was followed by a jump in the polls for the Conservatives. It will be interesting to see what polls show after the latest ads run for a few weeks. ....

actually seriously the adds dont even say anything in fact they only talk about ndp + 60% in taxation but of course say nothing of how that is calculated

The 30 second attack ad which links to the official BC Liberal attack website (it can be viewed there), mentions other trumped up allegations.
Yet, the site does get an A+ for hutzpah-- for daring to mention the word "scandal", given that Christy Clark has killed any inquiry into the unprecedented massive Liberal Government BC Rail fraud/givaway/bribery extravaganza.

I've lived in BC for 20 years, and have always voted Liberal, not because I liked them much (who could like Gordon Campbell), but because they are not the NDP...yes, I'm conservative...but...I agree...this ad is just dreadful...it's nasty, and what is worse, it's vague. What precisely has Dix done that is so awful? The ad really doesn't say...it tries to demonize him without being specific about his alleged crimes. I'm horrified when I see it, because it suggests to me that the provincial Liberal party is desperate and flailing about. I'm going to give the provincial Conservative party a closer look...I hope they aren't socially conservative religious nuts, cuz that will leave me with no one to vote for...
Oh I did support them quite a bit actually even stood as a nominee for the 2005 election
And cristy campbell.....(yes I know) well she is looking more and more like a silly hypocrite...I mean if you ever listened to her radio show

Even with sane policy to deal with crime and drugs she was too afraid to bring up her policy
