What do you think are the main sources of the shift to right after the bailout?

It seems to me the left and people who want some kind of change have huge problems:

-Most people in the left or are for change are pussies or weak (law abiding when the rich dont abide the law)

-Don't have a lot of money (no rich people supporting serious left causes)

-Not very socially courageous/ intelligent, or capable of marketing themselves on mass (i.e. colbert and stewart have more marketing power > then the entire left in north america)

-Having too many deluded, factionalized and alienating ideas and concepts for the mainstream (feminism, socialism)

-Have no energy or passion for committing serious crimes and civil disobedience, the rich just robbed the US people, why is no one fucking revolting?  There should be violence and blood in the streets.  Why would anyone listen to government parties telling people we can't afford unempoyment or increases in disability, when the rich just got billions upon billions in their "time of great need"?

To top it off the liberal/left (wussy left) in america let their anger be diffused by comedians like Colbert and Jon stewart, people can get off their ass and go to a "rally to restore sanity" but they all are just blathering morons taking it up the ass again for people that dont give a fuck about them or their future... they go have a good time, sigh and go back to the grind of tenuous employment or high stress underpaying jobs.

Some days I think I live in bizzaro world... one of the most greatest crisis of capitalism in history and everyone swings right? wtf.

How did people become so brainwashed?  Media, schools, people just don't care?  Is it because people have ipods and videogames that they associate capitalism with awesomeness even though they are unhappy, stressed out, overworked, in debt an underpaid?  I mean there is some mass cognitive dissonance here.

I bet he receives a warning and put on tight leash. He's obviously disappointed with neo-fascism and lack of democracy in general.

Hi Kev55. Welcome to babble.

As you read in the babble policy, which you agreed to when you registered for rabble.ca, this site has an anti-oppression mandate which is strictly enforced on babble. That means misogynist terms like "pussies" are not allowed. Call people cowards all you like, but don't use euphemisms which rely on sexist tropes belittling and insulting women.

It has nothing to do with the left (in the USA)... its centrist "independent" voters who expected things to happen much faster than it really can and apathetic democrats who are at fault for this coming democratic defeat in this election.
