Say Something Nice About The Babbler Above You

Hey all!

I hope this is the right place to put this thread. Anyway, I've noticed since joining Babble that Babblers can really get at each other's throats sometimes. This is of course not unique to Babble, and it happens all the time on other Internet forums. On one of the other forums I'm on, to help with this sort of thing, we have a thread in which we basically just say nice things about each other, so I did a search here and couldn't find something like that, and since I couldn't find one, I'd thought I'd start one instead!

Basically, the person who posts will say something nice about me, and ten the person who posts after that will say something nice about them. And so and so on.

anyone interested?

CanadaApple, what a great thread idea! You must be a thoughtful, imaginative and all-round nice gyu. Not only will it remind us what we like about each other, it is a great way to boost my ego... (cue crickets)

Spec is a midnight golfer who doesn't slice very often. He doesn't mince words. And don't quote me but I'm pretty sure he runs ginger ale in his snowblower.

Ripple: Your effect (get it?) here is great - it comes from real-life involvement in the movement, that's so obvious - wanna see more of you!

This was the noblest babbler of them all. All the conspirators save only he Did that they did in envy of great Caesar. He only in a general honest thought And common good to all, made one of them. His life was gentle, and the elements So mixed in him that Nature might stand up

And say to all the world, “This was a man"

Yeeaah.  Anyways...thanks to God for including the eventual Big Rip as a pretty viable back up plan to getting rid of Capitalism...along with everything else apparently.  But why quibble at this point.  Good job...I mean...great job.

I was shocked when GOD posted in a thread entitled, "Say Something Nice About the Babbler Above You."

For who shall be above Her?

This entire thread has thus degenerated into blasphemy, for which only the ever so loyal and thoughtful Unionist can hope to be spared as a just reward for telling on everyone.

You're right.  Tried to get into it, but it was just too unbelievable.

Unionist, I'm reputed to be omnipresent, remember?
