Would Canadian lawmakers be TASTIER than pigs?

I thought about putting this in "Canadian politics", but I just couldn't bring myself to.

I felt, though, as an American and a vegetarian(and thus doubly neutral on the question) that in this august forum I could fairly raise the question:

If Canadians would be better off letting pigs govern the country rather than the current group of mp's(as another thread suggests) might it also be more humane and nutritious to serve the current group of Canadian politicians as the main dish for holiday meals, or just those special occasions when you want to celebrate with friends?

And which recipes would work best for the average Tory or Liberal?
