I've been taken by Mr. Loree as well and would love to get everyone in the same boat together and sue him here in BC. I can arrange for and manage the litigation in a cost-effective manner. Would love to hear from you if you're still involved with this website.
This Rob Loree has got to be stopped! From what I've found, he's been doing this since at least 2004. If you have been scammed by him, contact the Kamloops police. I have also been in contact with at least 3 other people who are in the same boat. When he got my money, he was claiming to own a company called Major Moving based out of Kamploops and of course they say he doesn't work there anymore and there is a new owner. Feel free to send me a private msg if you would like more info.
I have come across a mover who seems to have no address. His name is Bob. His company is called River City Movers and he moves between Powell River and Alberta via Kamloops. Could this be the same guy? He gave me a rate but never showed up. I called him and we made new arrangments. He never showed up. I left several messages in his voicemail. No reply. The first time he was supposed to be here he said he was in Kamloops.
