I recall a controversy from some years ago when some mucky-muck from the Fraser Institute wrote an article/essay in which he (please forgive inaccuracies in my memory of this) compared a womans role in the office environment to that of furniture.

Any one recall said article/know where it, a rebuttal or even a reference to it can be found?

Sorry, twopass, I looked for the thread you mention, but I can't find it. Of course, I don't remember a thread like that either--maybe with this bump some other babblers could comb their memories?

I was referring to something which was, I assume, published by the Fraser Institute or possibly as a newspaper editorial.

You're saying there was a thread here on a rabble forum regarding said article?
