What takes presidence trade treaties like,Harper's new toy the TTP, or the Charter of Rights and freedoms, like could you take the government to court over say what one sees as charter violations caused by a Treaty and get it over turned in the courts? If not it seems to me that treaties, maybe not just trade treaties, but possibly others are too powerful if they can shirt around the Canadian constitution and the charter. When Nafta was passed was it ever challenged in court by anyone?
