Evan Soloman is a condescending idiot!
Did anyone see P and P today? Megan Leslie was on with Tory Rempel and some Lib (I'm sorry, I just don't remember who those guys are, I don't have ANY use for them, and I could care less what they think about anything, hypocrites), talking about the environment. At one point, they were talking about the environmental round table and Leslie pointed out that the Tories were going after the roundtable for partisan reasons. Soloman said immediately and I mean immediately, "that's your opinion", without asking her any kind of follow-up or waiting for her reply. At the same time he started talking to the Lib, and the camera moved to the Lib critic. I almost looked orchestrated. I thought to myself why did he even ask her a question in the first place if he was just going to dismiss her? Leslie didn't push back at all though, but it isn't as though she had a chance at all on that round. I have to say that for the majority of the interview, Leslie sat there with a smile on her face in the middle of the Tory and the Lib as they bickered. And I mean what I said, they were bickering; talking over each other and not listening. Mind you given how rude the Tories are and arrogant, that was hardly surprising. Leslie got a chance to make a point later on and Soloman dismissed her again. Man it was infuriating. Anyone see this? Does anyone else have other opinions on this or Soloman in general? What a dick that guy is! He is a real punk. The CBC has so gone downhill. It's really a disgrace.
Someone as condescending and arrogant as Evan Solomon would be a perfect person to run for the leadership of the Liberal Party of Canada!

My 11-year old son was on a field trip to Ottawa a couple of weeks ago. Visiting Parliament, Evan Solomon helped facilitate meetings with MPs. (He's an alumnist.) He provided a Conservative and a Liberal. My boy spoke up: "What? No NDP?" Solomon, to his credit, responded "You want NDP, I'll get you NDP," and rushed off and found Brian Masse.
Point is, his bias is obvious, but I think when challenged he can compensate for it. Unlike so many others.
What a telling anecdote. Solomon is smart...I will give him that...thats why I like to watch Don Martin because he asks revealing qestions that would only be asked by an ignoramus and often puts powerful people in uncomfortable positions and he has even been disciplined for dissent...Solomon likes Mulcair but he hates the NDP...what does that tell ya?

Rebecca, when he said to Megan Leslie, "that's your opinion" and the camera panned to the Lib, it made me think of Dick Armey's treatment of Rachel Maddow. It was like, the "don't worry your pretty little head little Missy" attitude. If I had been there I would have told him to apolgize ( or hit him, or, both,
). Whether Soloman likes it or not, SHE'S THE MP. NOT HIM. Talk about nerve.

Yes I have noticed a dramatic shift in so called FAIRNESS that has coincided with the polls showing the NDP as the leading political party in Canada......the name of the game now has shifted and is to bring them down, and the CBC is doing their part, whether it is by dismissal or stacking 3 against one or by even pumping the Liberals .Expect to see more of this FAIRNESS in the future, till theNDP are down . Just to be FAIR they should replace the host of the show every 2 months on a party picked basis, and rotate the shift..that way we get a somewhat sembelance of a FAIR host.
I'll tell you one thing ..If he was following the cbc polls they have on issues and reflected the majority rule and spirit of the polls in his show ..he would be handing over a hangmans noose to libs and cons just for showing up.
