Toronto police want to keep cameras installed for G20
November 16, 2010 - 4:50pm
These were supposed to have been temporary but now the Toronto police would like to keep them - the cameras and the sound cannons too.
Interesting.
I was in London the week before last - there are cameras everywhere now. It was a little spooky, but fascinating.
You never know when the invisible army of darkness will strike again. I'm glad they spy on the lives of sheeple. We deserve it.
can anyone say they didn't see this coming?
I always thought that, if the authorities insist on having cameras everywhere, then the feeds from the cameras should be publicly available for free on the internet. That way, we could make sure that they are not misbehaving.
That was my first thought when I saw the tread title.
I knew the day they went up that the cameras were forever going to be a part of Toronto. I had absolutely no doubt about it.
Are there any criminal charges attached to playing with CCTV cameras by flashing laser pointers at them?
It's the TPF, so I wouldn't be surprised if they make a few up.
Know no boundaries, our friends at work.
