Dub Poets Collective hosts a monthly reading series from February to June/July that takes place in various locations around Toronto. Readings feature widely established dub poets and younger poets with exciting new voices. Readings also feature an open mic component that encourages new voices to speak out. In presenting the reading series, DPC aims to partner with community groups to promote dub poetry and spoken word to a wider audience with a focus on engaging youth, the next generation of dub poets and spoken word artists. (originally scheduled for July)
