Another KC double, 8-0 now

Truly remarkable.

NorthReport

KC - 11 hits, SF - 1 hit

It wouldn't have taken much more for those 2 KC doubles to have become home runs.

Kansas City, here I come Laughing

NorthReport

Yesterday was a big game, but they all are in the finals.

The World Series 2014 edition will be decided today - can Kansas City pull it off? Smile

And the White Caps are in the playoffs as well today.

Big day for sports.

NorthReport

Who are the starting pitchers?

Mr.Tea

This should be a great game tonight!

Whichever team you support, I hope it's an exciting game Mr Tea, and that everyone enjoys it.

Take the poll and see if you agree! Laughing

I dont have TV or cable. There just seems to be no way to finangle livestream without subscribing to MLB.

Looking around I did come up with this generously offered by MLB for free:

if you want to watch paint dry

I do know the Giants just got a run, and still have runners in scoring position with 1 out.

Still...

2-1

NorthReport

Looks like Giants are warming up in bullpen.

Perez is in pain, hit above the knee.

NorthReport

Tied up

NorthReport

Bye, bye Hudson!

Bruce Bochy coming in to try and stop the bleeding in 2nd inning fo Giants

NorthReport

Replay, could be a double play.

NorthReport

And it is a double play, based on the manager intitated replay.

NorthReport

3-2 Giants. They are looking good, have to admit that.

NorthReport

I don't follow baseball much, but the Royal batters have now been hit twice by Giant pitchers. Is this game starting to smell?

NorthReport

Double play - sweet!

The announcer I am listening too is biased in favour of the Giants. Too bad!

NorthReport

Still 3-2.

Bottom of eighth.

Timming beginning to run out on KC.

NorthReport

Still 3-2.

Bottom of eighth.

Time beginning to run out on KC.

NorthReport

Congrats to the Giants and their fans.

Is this it for Babble "discussions" on major league baseball?

bekayne

KenS

but no discussions, really?

Caissa

Yesterday's ending was priceless. Bluejays are far more entertaining that the election.

I'm happy for the Blue Jays but I'm rooting for the Pirates. I remember the last time they won the World Series. John 'The Candyman' Candellaria,Bert Blyleven, submariner Kurt Tkulvey,Dave Parker and of course Willie Stargell and the Stargell stars. They were a fun team even if they were totally coked up.

I hope the Blue Jays and Pirates meet. It will be a great World Series.

DaveW

go Jays

looking ahead:tried to book tickets for next April's preseason series in Montreal, Jays vs RedSox:

virtually all tix gone by Sunday -- 100,000 in 2 days.

Play ball!

Caissa

And then it was 2.

KenS

Not a good start for the Pirates last night.

Now they hae to win against the Cardinals tomight and tommorow just to survive. But if they do, it will be bak to being interesting.

That sucks. I don't think they'll beat the Cardinals twice in a row. Maybe next year. How bout those Cubs? lol

KenS

silver lining of the Pirates being eliminated from the divsion title soon: the Cubs cannot lie in wait, rested, to pounce on the Pirates in the wild card game, the Pirates having battled to or close to the last day.

Caissa

1 is the loneliest number.

NorthReport
