I was just reading about Bilderberg through Google a few days ago. Conrad Black is a permanent member of Bilderberg and hosted their conference in Toronto years ago (1996) and the debate included selling Ontario government assets to the private sector.
Conrad Black said in his biography, "A Life in Progress": "It was from Bilderberg that our company's eventual vocation as an international newspaper organization arose."
Bilderberg membership didn't keep Tubby Black from doing time in the Crowbar Hotel apparently. In 2006 they met at the Brookstreet Resort near Ottawa. I think Paul Martin and Preston Manning are also members. Other Canadians who have attended Bilderberg meetings are:

Tucker explained that the Bilderbergers are becoming increasingly irate at the resistance amongst patriotic Americans to their program, with protest figures rising at each annual confab.
Isn't it a bit odd that a sitting Premier (Allison Redford) is part of this group?
Sounds like a turf war between the rich and powerful.
