If we dont get it together were either gonna destroy our world in a nuclear war or nature will take care of us with many more extreme ecological disasters, and hey at our present day rate of 184 million barrels of oil per day being extracted from the ground (in order to keep our wonderfully "civilized" developed countries running) by the way weve peaked already, thats total inbalance of distribution and if theres no oil, theres no nothing, then we may begin to experience the famine that plagues a third of our world maybe just then, something will sink into us.
