FAO praises Chavez

The FAO praised Chavez for his government's investment in domestic food production and regional food security.  He has nationalized the local branch of Cargill (this sort of thing, I'm sure, is why the North American press spends so much time bad mouthing him), and made nearly 2 billion in soft loans to peasant farmers resulting in protection of food supplies for the Venezuelan people.
