Nay verily, I affirm it and humble myself in its transcendent aura!

Doesn't take much - but, inspired by the Beatles, my soul bounces right back!

How do you know the first measurement was in mm? Awful sloppy lab report from this newbie.

Oh God, I know what's going on - it's the end of days. All these newmerical newbies. Our number's up.

Wow, you're right... You mean, it coulda been 29.718 metres? I should have known never to jump to conclusions in metric.

You did well. It's the rest of us that are dysfunctional. Welcome yet again! Now go join or open a thread and start tossing some opinions or questions around! In good health.

So we suddenly get three new babblers - with consecutive babbler numbers - all of whom have names composed of digits.

I call Invasion of the Right-wing Sock Puppets.

Unionist is right, both are in mm. It would be rude to use to different units of measurement and only label one!

But, it's suppose to be 7.62, not 762, wasn't sure if I was allowed to use periods.

It's a cartridge size that fits the AK47 rifle.

297.18 square millimeters? I know. The size of Harper's brain.

ETA: The 7.62 also fit the FN-C1

*7.62x51mm fits the fn-c1.

7.62x39mm also fits the sks, vz58, and various other rifles.

What's with the personal attack against Harper?

The 6.5x55 is clearly superior to the 7.62x39. Cartridge of the peasantry and the unwashed masses, I say.

Well, brain size wouldn't be squared, but cubed. So not subtle. Just doesn't make any sense

It would if you're just a two-dimensional stick figure, or if some mob of protesters has just flattened your head against a wall. Just sayin'. Mathematics can be very flexible.

I just can't make any sense of what you say. What is third dimensional thinking? Insulting those who are not around to defend themselves?

Psshaw!

Not only does the standard loading of the 6.5x55 have your 7.62x39 beat in weight, the 6.5 Swede beats it in ballistic coefficient and sectional density. Not too mention the 7.62x39 has the trajectory of a punted football. (this is the part where I snicker)

Heh, nice try, Stevie, but we know you are omnipresent. So - stand and defend yourself!

What I lack in density I make up for in volume and light weight packing! I think I recall seeing you at Crappy tire wondering why the 6.5 swede is dead!
