Hi all, I just found this website today and think I might stick around and read up on some articles and discuss them.
My main interest is crime and especiallly Organized Crime and the things that contribute to it in Canada.
I am interested in addressing todays social and economic issues in a meaningful way.
That said I also like to joke around and use a bit of humour. I often engage in sarcasm but will try to spare the other users here that until they at least get to know me.

Whats wrong with that? Poor crime policy affects all of us. Many of the root causes of crime come from many of the social inequalities that we all want to fight?

Yep, my belief is Organized Crime pervades to the very top of our governments in Canada. For instance, Canada and Provincial governements continue to apply "sin taxes" on items we consume (for better or worse) when studies show that black markets are cropping up due to this and Organized Crime in neck deep in it. There are studies done by the RCMP and Universites. I'll see if I can find some references.
I can agree with that alberta_redneck. Those pharmaceuticals have it sweeeeet!
