This year's conference is a continuation of the last 2 years' theme: Equity and the Global Economy. The focus of this year will be on Organizing Strategies for Economic and Racial Justice. Various topics will include:

* Organizing across issues and communities: collective action for social justice

* Youth organizing/Youth leadership: strategies to strengthen youth and young adult leadership in your union

* Transforming Laid off Workers into Worker-Activists: organizers, educators, advocates
