*****

BREAKTHROUGH is a volunteer led, peer-driven LGBTQ newcomer project between The 519 Church Street Community Centre and Access Alliance Multicultural Health and Community Services that aims to address social isolation as the entry point to the wider needs of the participants, and build on the existing support, settlement and advocacy programs for LGBTQ newcomers at The 519 and Access Alliance.

The goal of BREAKTHROUGH is to create a network of LGBTQ newcomer volunteers to develop skills, leadership, resources and support systems, and to organize social and educational opportunities.
