super thermite found in 9/11 dust from WTC towers

So a team of Danish scientists looked through their electron microscopes for 2 years at some extremely peculiar particles they found in the dust that settled after the World Trade Center attacks. In there they find a highly exotic form of thermite explosive that is actually MORE energetic than the theoretical limit perviously beleived to be associated with this material. So it is actually a breakthrough in explosives engineering, an explosive more powerful than the math predicted could exist. It should be called super-duper-thermite.

They publish their report and the leader of the team speaks on Danish national tv for about 10 minutes about their findings. Their scientific technique is impeccable and their conclusion is irrefutable. Yet where else in the main stream western media is this reported? Does everyone here agree that scientific investigations into the 9/11 attacks should be banned from the media?

This is amazing. Can you imagine how powerful those Super Termites had to be, to chew through those towers so fast?

ETA: Ok, I just found a photo in one of the Danish architectural journals that had the nerve to report this study:

Fidel

Well if even the chair of the 9/11 Commission thought there was cover up by the Bush admin and embedded Pentagon bureaucrats, this should cast even more doubt on the official 9/11 narrative. And our colonial administrators in Ottawa never doubted the American inquisition for a moment.">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CSe38dzJYkY][IMG]http://img.photobucket.c...

Unionist don't enter if you don't like the topic, it's called baiting. Seems we already went through this. I guess it's easier for you to stick your head in the ground though. Or to just come in with snide remarks instead of trying to even understand that evidence might mean something. You know like being lied to. What did your comments do other than to make you look petty as usual? Remember the phrase about a fool opening his mouth to remove all doubt...yeah thanks for showing up again.

Tommy_Paine

Actually, the super duper thermite is easily explained.  It's the degraded residue of the normal explosives used to simulate the blast off of the "lunar excursion module" (or LEM) from when the moon landings where faked in a studio on the top floor of whichever tower of the two you like.

Tommy_Paine

Vampires told me this.

Ok, my mistake, I thought it was termites, not sand beetles.

I hope they have managed to create a small delivery package for the new super thermite explosive.

Those old thermite grenades are too bulky and heavy to be carrying around all day, especially in those large city buildings.

The topic here is not that thermite sounds like termite or even that the WTC towers were demolished after months of pre-wiring with an explosive more powerful than anyone knew about. The topic here is the media blackout that is occurring over this story, a story about 3,000 dead people, wars and a radical shift in the course of world history. The topic of this post is that all western media organizations are conspiring to cover this up and it is a losing game, this will inevitably come out and everyone will point at the media and know they have been controlled.

Well, people are already pretty hip to the fact that the media seeks and often succeeds in controlling them.

Thanks. Next time if you are going to post something controversial, make sure you post a link. It's because no one had anything to go on that your thread degenerated into some quite funny asides.

From the abstract of the report:

Quote:
We have discovered distinctive red/gray chips in all the samples we have studied of the dust produced by the destruction of the World Trade Center. Examination of four of these samples, collected from separate sites, is reported in this paper. These red/gray chips show marked similarities in all four samples. One sample was collected by a Manhattan resident about ten minutes after the collapse of the second WTC Tower, two the next day, and a fourth about a week later. The properties of these chips were analyzed using optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray energy dispersive spectroscopy (XEDS), and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The red material contains grains approximately 100 nm across which are largely iron oxide, while aluminum is contained in tiny plate-like structures. Separation of components using methyl ethyl ketone demonstrated that elemental aluminum is present. The iron oxide and aluminum are intimately mixed in the red material. When ignited in a DSC device the chips exhibit large but narrow exotherms occurring at approximately 430 °C, far below the normal ignition temperature for conventional thermite. Numerous iron-rich spheres are clearly observed in the residue following the ignition of these peculiar red/gray chips. The red portion of these chips is found to be an unreacted thermitic material and highly energetic.

"The topic of this post is that all western media organizations are conspiring to cover this up and it is a losing game"

I don't know that the media are necessarily covering it up in a directed way. I think it's just a question of an ideological bais that leaves no room for certain things. Some questions come pre-settled in some people's minds. Did members of the Bush administration organise an attack, or the deliberate failure to defend against an attack, against their own population? Some people have far too much invested in the status quo to even consider such a question, to even let it travel across their brain. I think the editors, owners, and producers of our mass media outlets are all these kind of people.

Heck, even here on rabble, a haven of radical and anti-authoritarian thinking, there are those so affronted by the asking of this question that they pursue and persecute those who dare to do so, strangely thinking that the desire to see a full investigation of the most significant geo-political event of the decade is some childish, unbalanced pastime for weak minds. Well, I don't think so. I want to know more about what happened. I want someone to really look into it. If a school burned down, it would get a better investigation than the WTC attacks ever got. Some one would actually be working to get to the bottom of that, rather than shoving it away so they can get on with using it as a political lever.

I thank god that there are still some concerned and educated citizens who are shouldering the burden that our governments and media have abdicated, and investigating for themselves so that we all might eventually figure out the truth.

That's right. Someone has to connect the dots according to at least two 9/11 commission panelists themselves and one of whom was chair person of the slip-shod investigation. The commission panelists were all appointed by the two plutocratic power parties, and still they couldnt produce the evidence to support massive taxpayer spending on waging a phony war against "al-Qa'eda" and three nations of poor people in the Middle East and Central Asia. It might be laughable if there werent war crimes committed as a result of the lies and deception.

You got it all wrong. You are suppose to make jokes and call everyone a crackpot. You know buildings burn to the ground when they are made of concrete and steel, but paper passports of people not even on the passenger manifest are immune to those fires. It is basic physics that terrorists have passports made of mica. But not normal people. Wink

The many and varried conspiracy theories surrounding the events on 9/11 are in fact a conspiracy on the part of the Bush Administration to draw attention away from the real story-- massive intelligence and military incompetence.

So, it's clear to me that those who are flogging these theories are either pawns or stooges or co-conspirators of the big Bush/Cheney 9/11 cover up.

And if you gaze into the abyss, the abyss gazes also into you.

The best part of that Youtube interview was when the chemist guy asked for conclusive evidence to prove the 19 hijakckers conspiracy theory. I also liked it when he was grilled on the issue how he knew the WTC was demolished. "So, you found this substance in the WTC, why do you think it caused it to collapse? Deadpan: "Well, it's an explosive. Why else would it be there?."

Good interview. Looking forward to the counter-attack.

Tommy_Paine

Well, it will take time for this kind of evidence to be properly examined by experts.  And, if alternative explanations arise that don't fit the conspiracy, I'm sure it won't take the conspiracy theorists long to move the goal posts somewhere else.

Seriously, I think it's great that people are willing to look at everything, and keep an open mind as to explanations.  And, we should always be prepared to listen to the evidence.

However, as I sarcastically pionted out above, this can also prove to be a distraction.  There's enough in the official version for people to go batshit over, but no one has.

For example, why is it that no American has questioned why, after spending gazillions on deffense over the years, the Air Force could not scramble an armed fighter jet?   I know-- it's a bit of circumstantial evidence of a conspiracy.

Actually, it's rather direct evidence of deriliction of duty.  Of criminal incompetence.

The conspiracy theorists can't see the forest for the trees, and have been doing their best to obstruct everyone else's view.

Fidel

Tommy_Paine wrote:

Like Daniel Ganser said recently, I think that has to be one of three possible theories worthy of consideration. And although she doesnt subscribe to false flag 9/11 theories, Canada's Naomi Klein said that US conservatives have pled the insanity and gross incompetence defence before. And it's high time for people consider that the mistakes are not really mistakes at all. I think it's time to consider that US hawks represent the largest threat to world peace everywhere. And it's time to suggest to not only Republican Party supporters but Democrats alike that "al-Qa'eda" is a phony enemy, and that this is a phony global war on terror. This phony war is expected to continue for a long time, and I think now is the time to take the legs out from under this 9/11 narrative, the basis for this phony global war on terror. Charade they are.

They're in a tight spot. They did scramble jets, far too late, but quick enough to shoot down flight 93. But they can't admit to that without a lot of uncomfortable questions about why they lied about that and created the whole "let's roll" myth. Americans have a lot of emotional investment in such bogus, sentimentalist crap, and don't like their fantasies shattered by something so inconsequential and irrelevant as truth.

As for the "super thermite", it's obviously nonsense. If I was part of Cheney's working group planning such performance art, adding needless complexity like planted explosives just increases the likelyhood of failure. Why bother, if you are flying airplanes into the things already?

The simpler explanation for the collapse, regardless of whom was behind the airplanes crashing, was probably the mundane and routine corruption and corner cutting involved in building the WTC back in the 60's. If the engineering plans call for a certain grade of structural steel, but another grade will save some money, who's gonna know the difference after it's done?

ReeferMadness

I agree.

There are two scientists that claim to have found physical evidence of some exotic explosive in the dust.  It's hardly surprising that the mainstream media won't touch this but surely there is some way of validating or disproving what they've found.

There are huge numbers of people inside and outside of the US who don't believe the official story behind the JFK assassination.  The RFK assassination.  The assassination of Martin Luther King Jr.  The attack on Pearl Harbour.  And now 9/11.

There is a culture of secrecy where everything is an issue of national security.  So much information is kept from the public that it is small wonder so many people doubt official explanations.

Tommy_Paine

I think there's something more fundamental going on with conspiracy theories.   I think there's a large number of people who just prefer to think that life can't be stood on it's head by a collection of religious fanatics taking down two sky scrappers, or some looney in a book depository taking out a President.  They'd prefer an evil conspiracy because, evil though it may be, it indicates some sort of control, and allows them to live in denial about how easily the whole apple cart can be upset by random events.

These are the people who, if they survived a comet strike on the earth, would swear that NASA or the Russians--or both-- engineered it's orbit.

We all engage in creating the illusion of control around us, everyday.  No one would drive if they couldn't self dellude that they are a good enough driver to eliminate death and destruction by random traffic events.   It's probably a trait that in small doses is advantageous for mental health, if not survival itself.   But in some, it runs away with them.

Yeah, all that corner-cutting, on a structure that stood tall for 40 years and had already survived one bombing. Hindsight is often so...gosh, what's the word here?
