"A military watchdog has rendered its long-awaited verdict on transfers of Canada's battlefield prisoners to torture-prone jails in Afghanistan, saying eight soldiers can't be held responsible because they were largely kept in the dark by senior Canadian Forces brass.."
Lapdog not Watchdog - all parties conspired to neuter this file. Mission accomplished. And what about JTF2 warcrimes? 'Improper Killing' and the 'Sand Trap' investigations? It is a testimonial to the spectacular indifference of most Canadians to such matters that they can simply fade from view with no quesions asked. Can there be a more complacent, apathetic citizenry anywhere else?
I stopped listening to our colonial administrators after reneging on their solemn promise to bring Uncle Sam's rent-an-army home to Canada by 2011. The Harpers are pathological liars all. And their appointed watchdogs have no teeth whatsoever. It's a joke on Canadians. It's a fake country going to fake war against fake invisible terrorists created by none other than uncle whiskers his self. It's a phony war.
