Aqsa was in almost constant disagreement with her father and her siblings. She told her father she did not wish to wear the hijab any longer. She wanted to dress in Western clothes and have the same freedoms as the other girls in her high school."
I realize that this topic was discussed at length on Rabble some time ago. However--in light of this recent guilty plea and the admission by the father and son that this was, in fact, an 'honour killing'--the topic should be revisited.

Agent666, this is completely unacceptable. Aside from being homophobic and racist, this post belittles and makes light of rape. We don't do that here. You're taking a week off. I would use that week to consider, in light of the recent posts you've made that have drawn the untoward attentions of the moderators, if babble is the place for you. Beleive me, I will be considering it too.
If someone would like to start a different thread about Asqa Parvez, feel free. I'm closing this one.
