Canada's first convicted war criminal since 2000
Montreal man found guilty of Rwanda war crimes

MONTREAL -- Desire Munyaneza, a failed refugee claimant from Rwanda, was found guilty here Friday of war crimes for his role in the 1994 Rwandan genocide against minority Tutsis and moderate Hutus.
The verdict marks the end of the first war crimes trial in a Canadian courtroom since adoption in 2000 of Canada's Crimes Against Humanity and War Crimes Act.
Superior Court Justice Andre Denis's 222-page judgment clearly showed he believed all the prosecution witnesses, but dismissed those for the defence as not credible.
I see they sentenced our first "home grown" terrorist to 2.5 years, with time off for time served in trial. Looks like the bullshit was so high that the crown knew it didn't have a case and plead the case out, just to get a conviction.
2.5 years for plotting to murder innocent people? That is a joke. The only explanation is that there was no case. If they were serious they would have plead it down to 5 or 10 for 20 years. 2.5 years and having your life destroyed for bullshit.
Youth convicted in terror...

How in the fuck is this asshole home grown.
Canada and the US have given sanctuary to thousands of war criminals from Europe, Latin America and Africa throughout the cold war era. And North America is a net exporter of weapons of mass destruction as well as terrorism to the rest of the world for many years.
And Canada gives sanctuary or protects all citizens no matter what thier views are. Unlike other countries that would arrest desenters or worse.
And through signing trade deals with and providing weapons and training in terrorism to their militaries, and by our weak leaders' complicit silence, Canada and the US prop-up criminal regimes which violate basic human rights of their citizens and trample international law.
Just like countries like Cuba where they don't have the right to get on the internet and oppose the government? Or perhaps China or countries like Venesuala that stop newspapers from publishing?
The USsA has denied Cuba access to American undersea fiber optic cable to access the internet(see USsA's repressive Helms-Burton law). Therefore the Cubans have to connect to internet by satellite, which is expensive for a small island country.
And telecoms in the USsA and Canada helped the communists to build the Orwellian internet security firewall in China.
Telcos in the US are working hand-in-glove with the US government to create a high tech police state the likes of which the former East German Stasi only dreamed of.
And there is no shortage of propaganda printed in newspapers and television stations in Venezuela. Mouthpieces for the rich doubling as newspaper columnists and journalists in Venezuela describe Chavez as the second coming of Hitler and Stalin on a regular basis in Caracas. Some police state that is.
I lived in Venezuela for 13 years. I must say that it really is a shithole. Chavez is making things even worse. Dark times ahead for them I'm afraid.
You havent seen a US sponsored shithole until youve been to Haiti, Guatemala, Honduras, or El Salvador just a few day's drive from Texas. Human rights shithole deluxes.
