Celebrity Bypasses Airport Security in Montreal while Others Wait
American actress Halle Berry was escorted by uniformed Montreal police past long security line-ups at Trudeau International Airport, while others waited up to two hours to board the same plane.
From the Toronto Star:
The post-Christmas terror plot on the Detroit-bound airliner has wreaked havoc on Canadian airports, creating long lines and security headaches for passengers.
But not, it seems, if you're a Hollywood megastar.
On Jan 4., while others were worrying about missing their flights as they languished in the queues for U.S. Customs at Montreal's Trudeau International Airport, Oscar-winning actress Halle Berry, her partner Gabriel Aubry and 22-month-old daughter Nahla breezed past the lineups, escorted by a uniformed police officer.
People bypass long security lines on a regular basis. I don't like waiting in line either. Good for Halle.
But don't you fear that all those relatives you have flying are put in danger when some people are allowed to skip security simply because they make bad movies?
Actually, making particularly bad movies should mean that you get subjected to ADDITIONAL security screening. Adam Sandler and Johnny Knoxville should both be on the no-fly list.
What happens to the queue if a celebrity gets mobbed by autograph hunters and well wishers? What if there's an incident of some sort and even more cops are called in? Aha, ya see?
Now there's a slow news day at the Toronto Star. Jebus.
People bypass long security lines on a regular basis. I don't like waiting in line either. Good for Halle.
THIS from Mr. "How Dare Anybody Question Airport Security" himself? This from the guy who acts like he's the only person who cares if people get blown up in the sky? Say WHAT?
Exactly Ken, see my sarcastic comment in post #2. North Report has proven to be a total joke who is either here on a mission or is hopelessly lost.
