You have to understand that it was the crown from the "criminal" justice branch of the B.C. Ministry of the Attorney-General that decided not to lay charges. If  BC had a true justice system the outcome may have been different!

There reasons are even lamer. Oh Oh he looked desturbed, might as well tase him 4 times to make sure! Cops always get off. But people always want to say they are angels. They put their life on the line...umm yeah so do I everyday, probably moreso than them. Firefighters I can say do STUFF, cops are often thugs that are above the law.

Bill hicks

Hicks sums it up well.

If this had been an isolated event, I may have more sympathy for the Crown's analysis.  Problem is that the number of deaths and other abuses at the hands of cops (particularly the RCMP) continues to climb.

First off, every province should send the Mounties packing and do it themselves, like Ontario and Quebec have done. Policing is generally a provincial matter, and any policing standards passed by the province do not apply to RCMP. The RCMP should be limited to large federal type cases like high-level organised crime and terrorism.

Next, every province should have an independent police comission to oversee the police, a comission that has the power to investigate incidents and recommend criminal charges. Finally, the Crown attorney's office should have an independent branch dedicated to prosecuting alleged police wrongdoing.

Justice denied. While I have no personal problems with police, my opinion of them has deterriorated considerably in the last few years.

Of the four police who assaulted Dziekanski, the one who fired the taser, Kwesi Millington, has been transferred to the Toronto West detachment of the RCMP. Two others have been transferred, one to Nanaimo BC, the other to an unknown location.

The fourth, Benjamin Robinson, was reassigned to the 2010 Winter Olympics security detachment following the killing but is now under suspension with pay. On October 29, 2008, he killed a 21 year old man while driving drunk in Delta BC, a Vancouver suburb. Orion Hutchinson was the son of a local firefighter and was riding a motorcycle when struck at high speed by the cop. Robinson fled the scene on foot after the accident, not stopping to see if he could save the victim.

Spector love the tag line :) Interesting how it took himrunning over the kid of the other half of the hook and ladder, for anything to actually happen. Suspended...wooo hooo. If that was yor or I we get a minmum of 3 years on manslaughter, leaving the scene, etc. They are suppose to be at a higher standard and are human, but at the same time they think everyone else is a criminal and beneath contempt. Though let me preface that it isn't all cops, but there is a large undercurrent in the force. This happens far to often now, I can't imagine how many things like this use to happen before the internet or even say 30+ years ago.

That's my point, it probably happened a lot more often back then but wasn't covered as much. Steve Truscott come to mind.

Talk about a whitewash of the affair….no question investigating and exonerating yourself is a real bargain in the crime industry. They just responded to a call and did their job…yeh right. No where is it mentioned and you can look at the video and see for yourself that they charged in like they were on a mission to kill then swarmed the poor man like a gang does (swarming) then electrocuted him many times till he died, all in the space of  minutes. A gang land hit couldn’t of been performed better than that. Judge Jury and Executioner all in one.

I hope when they have there inquest they bring that up as well as all the lying that took place every step of the way…like they were covering up plenty of errors and maybe even criminal acts. Maybe even trying to plant evidence for all we know….like a stapler. We know they took a trip to Poland to dig up as much dirt on the victim as they possibly could to try and justify the act of murdering a defenceless individual. The whole affair begs the question..If  the victim pulled out a gun and shot them all dead or kung fu’d them all to death would it be self defence seeing as we now know they killed him dead because he wasn’t capable of killing them first. The poor guy never had a chance as he didn’t know they were going to kill him in cold blood.

Regarding the Estevan murders I believe the officers died horrible deaths eventually some commited suicide . From the reports of hit and runs and alcoholism it looks like these officers will probably also have a miserable life from what they did. But is it really there fault?

The Estevan murders were ordered by a conservative premier (Anderson)..a conservative that won with support of the KKK…now that’s a true conservative. Despite the efforts of  making false tv biographys trying to depict a liberal as the scum who ordered the killings... it was a conservative. Why is it that conservative governments  are always behind these questionable killings?

Regardless the rcmp have become in many eyes the Gestapo and will probably be treated as such by many people in the future. Given the precedent of murdering a defenceless man and getting away with it one can safely assume that any killing of an rcmp or group of them could be considered self defence related.

The real criminals are the conservative ministers of public safety ….the appointed by conservative commissioners that won’t investigate conservative bribery or espionage and the cover-up artists and spin doctors within the SS that defend and promote electrocution as a form of conflict resolution.

It should also be obvious that unless there are civilian witness to backup rcmp actions that the rcmp cannot be trusted, just like the majority of political parties and senators have lost trust in the conservatives , so many Canadians have lost it for the once respected police force.

Hoodeet (JW)

Call them precedents, test cases for extrajudicial killings on a wider scale, object lessons to terrorize, silence and paralyze the general population.

Or call us paranoid. (The cons and the MSM will, of course.)
