Deep Water Drilling there is nothing normal about it as thanks to our Prime Minister from Alberta its now the norm as we have drilling from the Alantic to the Pacific as the number of tankers on our waters is outrageous and very, very dangerous to all considered.  It is an accident waiting to happen and no one on earth can guarantee anything different and since no one can ensure there will not be a major spill or a leak then what is going on?  The risks outway any benefits as mankind goes in for the kill so pockets can be lined with silver and gold while turning their backs on all that is living.  Wasn 't there a prophet who said our waters are going to be blackened apparently he wasn't that off the mark.  What is your property going to worth when the oceans are black with oil and the fish an't swimming.  Go home run yourself a nice cold glass of some of the finest water and then top it up with some Oil because that is exactly what is being offered to our wildlife and the fish aren't swimming and the dolphins aren't playing and its a DEAD ZONE and its not like it hasn't happened before.  If this latest leak was the biggest and baddest ever what is Canada going for the worst ever.  Hello water and oil just don't mix and no amount of safety gear can prevent it.  Can these Deep Water Drilling Companies get Insurance before drilling you know incase of human error?  And then ask how can you put a dollar value on it the damage a major spill would cause because apparently that is what the Drilling Company is trying to do.

You can put a dollar value on anything - and that's the only value we recognize.

The Floridians crying now about their 'pristine white-sand beaches' and exhorting the federal government to "DOOO something!" were, only a few weeks ago, demonstrating against government regulation of any business, anywhere, ever.

That's how the electorate's 'mind' works. No sense; no reason; no foresight.

Here, too. If most Canadians gave a thought to probable consequences, we'd demand a lot more caution. (And maybe wouldn't have trashed Alberta?) But we don't care until it's too late.

Anyway, didn't our glorious leader say it can't happen here? No way Canadians can be affected, right?

It can't happen here! Harper said so and he is the Prime Minister...
