Quebec Passes New Gun Registry Bill

Yesterday the Quebec government passed a new gun registry bill.

Fully supported by all parties.

Not much being said in R.O.C. about it though!

At just 5 dollars a year for registration fees it would more than be self supporting but I have no details as to if they will go that route.

A self supporting gun registry would really be embarassing for the feds!

Sandy, we've been talking about the Québec registry here for a long time. Maybe one thread would be best, especially since gun control needs to be looked at from an all-Canada perspective. Maybe we should change the name of the other thread to be more generic...

The thread you pointed out talks about long gun registry in general not just the Quebec issue!

This bill was just tabled in Quebec 2 days ago not voted on yet but going by reaction of all the Quebec partys it will pass no problem. I thought it was passed but I was wrong it has just been put forward with the vote coming later!

Is there another thread where it talks about just this Quebec bill?
