babble is rabble.ca's discussion board but it's much more than that: it's an online community for folks who just won't shut up. It's a place to tell each other — and the world — what's up with our work and campaigns.

Any site that has an ad that moves or flashes prevents me from properly reading articles. Sometimes there is an accessible print format, if not I'll manually copy it and read it on Word, and not keep it afterwards.
I know sites have to secure ad revenue to be free of charge for users, but I have a lot of problems reading seriously if an article is drowned out by such "noise", and flashing things give me sick headaches.

Hey -
These days I mainly come here to read Rick Salutin. In the present column there was a Rabble fundraising ad inserted in the body of the text. Not coming in with an ideological position on this practice, I found its presence so offensively obtrusive that I had to re-read the bottom half of the article three times.
Just sayin' - I know times are tough and all, but there are other places to read this column online, and if I can access it without commercial interruptions, I am going to access it without commercial interruptions. Which will leave me with very little occasion to visit the site! (not that you're doing a bad job, just that my attention lies elsewhere these days)
Anyone else bothered by this? Thanks.
