Rabble Ruckus sock puppet - is Ruckus a rabble mascot?

Is Ruckus rabble's mascot and what do we know about him/her? Are there siblings? etc.
I thought Ruckus was a member of babble!
I hate that thing. My elegant black cat Renzo would make a far better mascot ... or god.
I was looking at picking up a look-alike and photographing him in all sorts of travel shots. Ruckus here. Ruckus there. Ruckus on the helm of the good ship lollypop. Ruckus at the beach. Ruckus hanging 5.
That was done in the film Amélie using a garden gnome. Great film!
