Finishing School for Prostitutes

People get all up in your face about rights for sex workers and I wholeheartedly agree there needs to be legislative help, such as raising the legal age of workers in all sex related industries, but working girls also need to start helping themselves. Sex workers need to meet the straight world halfway if they want the straight world to really listen.  Working girls also need to learn how to protect themselves by minimizing their own risks and get training from peole who've been in the biz and know all the risks as well as how to be a high-end companion or sugar baby to get more respectful clients.

How the high-end market developed is because there are some of us who were brought up with manners and education but fell on hard times, often quite when too young to fully realize we still had our whole lives ahead of us. This is because since babies we’ve had manners and propriety banged into our heads 24/7, so if we suddenly end up in altered circumstances the more sensitive ones think we are washed up already and deserve it; ironic as that is.  As modern day well brought up women we mostly go into sex work to pay for college fees, medical bills, mortgages, and children.

Our well-meaning parents taught us to prevent trouble by not standing out in a bad way. Manners and deportment were trained into me from since I can remember with ballroom dance classes since I was seven, pony club and finishing school in my teens, modern dance and art studies and attending socialite gatherings and riding in foxhunts in my twenties.  On that level of society men treat all women with respect and open many kinds of doors for them. Which means to say the safest and most lucrative end of the sex industry is the upper mid to upper class and high spending client who prefers women with refined style, conversation skills, etiquette, integrity, and most of all discretion.

For long as prostitution has existed there has been a high-end market and a low-end market. In the 21st century with the Internet you don’t have to rely on a madam or agency or somebody in the know to screen clients to make sure they are high-end. But that does not mean just because you can screen high-end clients or get them to contact you that you will close the deal or get a long-term arrangement or they recommend you to their friends.

You have to look and act high-end to be a high-end personal companion or sugar baby, and it’s not something a person can learn from a fashion magazine or Miss Manners on your own or in a short amount of time. That is why finishing school and refining one’s self is also called cultivation and taught from childhood. Cultivation takes time and application and self-discipline and doing the work on your-self and really wanting to do it.  But that is not to say the basics can’t be taught in 6 months for the purposes of getting higher paying clients and making your work environment safer.

In rough economic times more and more women enter the sex industry, but there is not enough training on how to do it safely and how to get respectful clients.  This is a whole bunch of tragic messed up lives waiting to happen. I’ve been there myself and I’ve also been there for many women who’ve gone through it.  If I knew then what I know now when I started in the sex industry or even mid career I would have made a lot more money with a lot less work and spent a lot less time and bank account and heartache years later in therapy and multiple bad relationships.  If we want the straight world to respect us as working girls and boys, we as women and gentlemen need to take back our own power and respect ourselves.

To that purpose I’ve spent the last few years putting together my knowledge from working in the industry as well as researching and writing how to stay safe in the industry and keeping up with the Internet and the industry and how high-companions work in the 21st Century.   I put it all together in a training program and priced it affordable for the average person, with discounts for friends.

Training options are online or in person or both. No real names are used during training and all sensitive and personal information is kept strictly confidential.

Hi ModernartWoman,

While I believe your interest in keeping sex workers safe is legitimate, I find the notion of training sex workers to better please rich men, or to snag a wealthy husband to be extremely problematic. The fact that you charge a fairly significant fee for your workshop is a further concern. Since advertising is not allowed on babble, I've removed the link to your website.

Free info can be got anywhere, but it is dangerous because it doesn't tell you how to prevent trouble by not attracting it, and it's not backed by real instruction. You can't learn how to work in the sex industry safely from a book or blog, there are too many nuances and variables and that's not counting deportment and fashion styling training.

If you dress and act like a $100 hooker you are going to attract $50 assholes and be treated like one. It's exactly the same in the straight world and dating, if you look like a cheap trick or a cheap date you only attract cheap tricks and cheap dates. Women always have to respect and improve themselves if they want respect in return, and the same goes for the sex industry.

Learning manners, deportment, and fashion sense keeps you safe by attracting safe clients. I worked 16 years as a high-end escort and never had a bad client, because high-end men don't want trouble.  The link the edistor deleted is [links deleted again by moderator]

Most of my students are normal women with normal jobs and can afford my classes very well and pay as they go at a very minimal fee of $53 for personal one on one instruction, compared to the $3000 to $24,000 for similar instruction.

And susan davis shame on you, for the sake of reading your own scribble you dis a sister and put women at risk with yet more free information that is not backed up with real  instruction. You are not helping, you are encouraging dangerous behavior.

How many of you, when you have bills to piled up and no money, would refuse $20,000 cash placed in your hands for 2 hours of your time in bed, because the client wouldn't wear a condom? I mean it, if you were in that situation what would you do honestly? 90% women would take the cash,  but there are plenty of good reasons not to, not just AIDs. I can tell you from real experience because I've been there and had that offer made to me and the 20 grand cash placed in my hands, but I didn't take it.  Can any of you reading this say the same? I don't think so, because very few women have seen that much cash placed in their actual hands for 2 hours work.

You are either part of the problem or part of the solution; make your choice.

Hi Modernartwoman. Advertising is not allowed on babble, especially something as problematic as training women to attract rich husbands. I think the issue is worth discussing, but I don't think you're interested in discussion as much as you are promoting your program. Unfortunately, since this is a discussion forum, that means I've suspended your account.

eep is right.   A true sister, interested in making sure new sex workers know how to work safely, doesn't charge for the info.

Not to say, I think that any of the info is of value from modernartwoman, her assumption also that the high end escort atttracts the higher end genteel client, presumes that guys with less dollars to spend are low lifes, which is not true at all.
