The new Blue Planet Project banner outside our Ottawa office this afternoon. (l-r) Meera Karunananthan, Brent Patterson, Emma Lui.

The Blue Planet Project now has banners to better identify our participation in protests and gatherings around the world. The banners — in English and Spanish — arrived in Ottawa today and soon will be with our organizers in Mexico City, Durban and New Delhi.

In this way, when the opportunity comes — whether that’s at a major event, a community gathering, a university conference, a public forum, a convention, a protest march, or any number of other activities and actions — the presence of the Blue Planet Project will be additionally visible.

The banners will also help to promote our new Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/BluePlanetProject and our website at http://blueplanetproject.net (which will be re-launched with a new design in mid-December).

Thank you to communications team members Matthew Ramsden and Jan Malek for helping to produce these banners.
