Great-Lakes-tour-2012-300

Council of Canadians chairperson Maude Barlow will begin an eight-city tour in defence of the Great Lakes this Tuesday in Toronto.

Advance media on the tour has been good:

There have also been radio interviews, with more to come.

The tour promises to include many interesting moments — including Barlow travelling on Lake Ontario by sailboat from Toronto to Hamilton, scuba diving in Lake Superior during the Thunder Bay tour stop, a roundtable meeting with members of the Aamjiwnaang First Nation, a rabble.ca webcast of the last tour stop in London, and much more.
