This year marks the 20th anniversary of the military crackdown at Beijing’s Tiananmen Square on June 4, 1989 where as many as 2,000 were killed by the Chinese army.
To commemorate this horrific event, the Toronto Association for Democracy in China re-enacted the Beijing massacre with a Bike-in - to symbolize the populous transportation in China at that time - and a Die-In - to remember the students and workers who sacrificed their lives for democracy.
