WHAT: COP16 website, with multimedia content and multiple blogs

WHEN: Monday, Nov. 29 to Friday, Dec. 10, 2010. Daily video/audio shows air noon to 1pm CST, Monday through Friday, and will be rebroadcast at 5 p.m.

The Indigenous Environmental Network (IEN), in collaboration with Global Justice Ecology Project, Abya Yala Nexus and Earth Cycles, will be producing a website to cover the COP 16 summit in Cancun. The website will include press releases, contact lists, blogging and multimedia content produced by many prominent environmental justice organizers from North America, including delegates from communities impacted by the fossil fuel industry.

In addition to a continual live audio and video stream (in English), IEN’s media team will be producing a daily one-hour video/radio program, hosted by Casey Camp Horinek and Dallas Goldtooth.

The video show will be live streamed on RedRoadCancun.com — Monday through Friday — at noon and will be rebroadcast at 5pm. The radio show will be available for download by 2 p.m. CST Monday through Friday.
