Occupy Toronto – Homes for the Holidays on Thursday

The Deets:

Thursday December 15, 2011
12:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Nathan Phillips Square
Toronto, ON

The Call Out:
On Thursday, December 15, 2011, at noon Occupy Toronto will serve food for the community at the Christmas tree outside of city hall.

POTLUCK – food will be potluck style – please bring a dish to share with people!

TOY DRIVE – please bring a gift to share with little ones … 🙂

Occupy Toronto intends to highlight issues of poverty during the holidays. Homelessness is a serious issue in our city. During the eviction of St. James, many in our community were promised housing, which to date has not materialized. Please join us and help ensure everyone has homes for the holidays.
