The hashtag #DenounceHarper was trending on Twitter for Canada on Canada Day, where it had a reported fourteen million views yesterday.
It was ranked second place, behind #HappyCanadaDay It is also trending today.
Taking it to social media, just as with the earlier #TellVicEverything campaign back in February 2012, to protest Vic Toews online surveillance bill (Bill C-30); either by using that hashtag or by directing the tweet right to his Twitter account causing it to overflow with messages from angry Canadians.

And the StopHarperBot is right. Yes, the Twitter action is important to raise awareness but the anti-Harper movement must move beyond the Internet and manifest itself in the real world.
