AUTUMN JAM: A Harvest Party @ The People’s Peas Garden

As the People’s Peas Garden grows taller and wider almost every week, we’ve been harvesting more yummy veggies than we ever thought possible! Without permission! In a publicly accessible space! This is food sovereignty.

Join us this autumn, Saturday September 29! We’ll have workshops running from 12pm until 5pm with music and theatrical festivities continuing late into the evening to celebrate the start of the Fall Season at the garden.

FEATURING an Eccentric Faerie-Tale Multimedia Presentation by *The Indigo Cabaret*..theatre, dance, dj, live instruments, audience interaction all in one! (~7pm)

A grande (musical) jam, (edible) potluck, (learnable) workshops shall be had!

~MUSICAL JAM~
*Bring instruments of all kinds for jamming and for the kids to jam along too*
*Special Feature Performance by INDIGO CABARET @ 7:00pm*
*More performances by local musicians to be announced soon*

~PICNIC POTLUCK~
*Bring a garden-fresh potluck dish*
*Bring a reusable plate/bowl and cutlery*

~WORKSHOPS~
* 3pm -Seed-Saving: How and why to save seeds from your garden
*Build a Hoop-House: Extend the growing season to produce more food (Hoop-House raising Ceremony included!)

~KIDZ KORNER~
*Please bring scrap paper, markers, crayons, paints, pastels, books for the children*
*And bring your whole family!*
