We could pretend we are too cool for awards, but we must admit it is nice to be a finalist for "Best overall online only website" for the Canadian Online Publishing Awards. We are proud to be the independent news site with a big heart, big ideas and a little budget. The winner(s) will be announced Monday, Oct. 26 at ceremony in Toronto at the Gladstone Hotel and if you want to come out and root for rabble and community supported media, it looks like it will be a good time; plus you get to see some examples of great work on the web from all the nominees.
