Love to read (we know you do) and in Toronto this Sunday? Come by the rabble.ca table at Word on The Street this Sunday September 27th from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. at Queen's Park. We will be selling our Best of rabble.ca 2.0 book for a crazy low $3 plus we will be holding draws for free signed books! We will be giving away autographed copies of Lawrence Hill's Any Known Blood; Rawi Hage's Cockroach; Maude Barlow's Blue Covenant: The Global Water Crises and the Coming Battle for the Right to Water; and Don Tapscott's Grown Up Digital. In the meantime, check out rabble.ca's book lounge featuring original book reviews, radio book lounge, book event listings and more!
The rabble booth is # MM18 in the "Magazine Mews" section that can be found on the N.E side of the festival (Queen's park crescent east).
rabble.ca's staff blog
This is rabble.ca's staff blog. Visit this blog regularly for updates about rabble, and comments and observations from staff members, with occasional visits by board members and volunteers. Our staff blog is represented by our website "mascot" Ruckus, the sock monkey, who joined us in 2006. Ruckus cheers us on through fundraising campaigns and membership drives, and reminds us to keep perspective in the midst of the challenges of running an independent media website.
