Seeking volunteer podcasters for the Congress of the Humanities and Social Sciences

| May 19, 2010

rabble.ca is a media sponsor of the 79th Annual Congress of the Humanities & Social Sciences. The Congress is the largest and most respected multi-disciplinary gathering of researchers in North America. This year, the Congress is being held at Concordia University in Montreal from May 28-June 4, 2010.

The rabble podcast network is planning on podcasting some of the most challenging lectures from the Congress, and to do that we need your assistance. We are looking for volunteers to record sessions for the rabble podcast network's lecture series Needs No Introduction. For any of you who may already be podcasting with the rpn, never fear, the content you record can also be used on your own podcast.

Of course we have a wish list (we'll have that list available in the next few weeks), but for now we would love to book you in as a recordist based on your availability. Please email publisher@rabble.ca and let us know the following so we can work you in to the recording schedule:

1. What recording equipment do you have to use for this project?
2. What days of the Congress you'll be available for a ½ day (morning or afternoon), or in the evening to record.
3. If you have a session that you are particularly interested in attending, please tell me and I'll try to arrange that for you.

Thanks and hope to see you in Montreal!
