This is rabble.ca's staff blog. Visit this blog regularly for updates about rabble, and comments and observations from staff members, with occasional visits by board members and volunteers. Our staff blog is represented by our website "mascot" Ruckus, the sock monkey, who joined us in 2006. Ruckus cheers us on through fundraising campaigns and membership drives, and reminds us to keep perspective in the midst of the challenges of running an independent media website.

| April 13, 2011

Wondering how to vote, where to vote and who and what to vote for? Find all the answers to your questions here in rabble's Voters' Guide. The guide directs you to a multitude of groups, campaigns and resources for new voters. Learn how to vote and get involved in the 2011 federal elections...your democracy depends on it!

And, don't forget:

- Talk to your friends and family about the election! Are all your friends, co-workers, classmates and family voting? Why not? Engage them in conversation and encourage them to vote.

- Download our weekly rabble rouser! This special election version of rabble has been prepared as a tool you can use to strike back against voter apathy. Print and distribute at rallies, leave copies in coffee shops, on campus, etc.

- Share your news on rabble.ca! Do you have a great photo? Add to our Flickr pool, join in the discussion on rabble's discussion board or pitch stories to our editor (editorATrabble.ca).
