This is rabble.ca's staff blog. Visit this blog regularly for updates about rabble, and comments and observations from staff members, with occasional visits by board members and volunteers. While our website "mascot" Ruckus the sock monkey is on vacation, our staff blog is represented by this gorgeous ladybug, who is sporting the *rabble.ca* colours and reminds us that there are good, "beneficial" pests, like independent media who bug the right folks.

Feeling the love

Feeling the love

We love that you love independent media. We love that we can be your partner in news in views. We love that more and more people turn to rabble.ca to get stories that matter to communities across Canada.

The best news is that for the cost of a box of chocolates not only do you get independent media, but so does everyone else. A few dollars from folks that can afford $5, $10, $75 keeps rabble going and growing. A few dollars means that rabble is available regardless of ability to pay. We love that.

Plus if you make a donation we will put you in our weekly prize draw for things like Beacon Bike Lights, Canadian CD music packs, our new rabble.ca tote bag, or even a year's supply of Zatoun Fair Trade Extra Virgin Olive Oil (six 750ml bottles).

So, yes, we will be your Valentine. You can show some love at rabble.ca/donate.
