toolkit-200

rabble.ca is delighted to announce that we are to be a recipient of one of CKLN-FM’s legacy grants. CKLN-FM was an institution in campus and community radio, bringing news and radical views all across Toronto from it’s studio at Ryerson University before losing its broadcast licence in 2011. Now, its memory will live on in a new series from the Lynn Williams Activist Toolkit, coming this fall. The series will interview prominent Canadian activists across social justice movements to gain their insights into organizing through their experiences.

Through this grant, rabble.ca is able to continue its important work of bringing the stories ignored by the mainstream to the forefront. Like CKLN, rabble.ca is using media to shift the focus of stories to ones too often overlooked by corporate news. Thank you, CKLN!

The series will become a monthly instalment on Constructing Change, the podcast of the Activist Toolkit. Look for this new series launching in October 2013!
