Ban on Galloway upheld, but he will still be heard in Toronto and across Canada

| March 30, 2009

A Federal Court judge has denied George Galloway's request for an injunction that would have allowed him into the country on a speaking tour scheduled to begin today in Toronto.

The ban on Galloway was upheld today despite a massive outpouring of opposition to the move by Minister of Immigration Jason Kenney.

Organizers of the speaking tour will go ahead with tonight's event in Toronto, broadcasting Galloway's speech live.
