Melissa Elliott is co-founder of Young Onkwehonwe United (YOU), a rising youth group at Six Nations that has been campaigning for a youth centre and a stronger youth voice in their community. She has also sat as the youth delegate on the Six Nations land claims negotiations team. Melissa is a strong advocate for Six Nations sovereignty and a nation-to-nation relationship between Six Nations and the Canadian State and its municipalities based on the Two Row Wampum Treaty.
