Mulcair is not soft on C-51

Elsewhere on rabble.ca Michael Laxer has made the argument that the NDP is soft on C-51 because Mulcair says, in office, the NDP would amend it not scrap it. Laxer is wrong.

Why won't Harper act to free Raif Badawi?

Raif Badawi was sentenced to 10 years and 1,000 lashes for merely exercising his freedom of speech, and his wife and children now live in Canada. Harper has not done much to try to free him.
